Clear information about microbusiness eligibility and energy pricing from VoltX Power.

Do you qualify as a microbusiness?

Based on Ofgem guidelines, you are a microbusiness if you meet either of these criteria:

  1. Use no more than 100,000 kWh of electricity per year; or
  2. Employ fewer than 10 employees (or their full-time equivalent) and have an annual turnover or balance sheet of no greater than £2 million.

Pricing notes

  1. The same rates will apply for any microbusiness renewing a fixed-price contract.
  2. The Estimated Annual Cost (£) is based on a microbusiness with an Estimated Annual Consumption (EAC) of 20,000 kWh for electricity.
  3. All prices displayed exclude VAT, CCL and any other applicable charges.
