16mm Opaque Cobalt Glass Beads, 1800's silver and copper bicone-shaped (some round)These beads, in pristine condition, are a deep cobalt blue transparent color which was produced in the mid 1800's in Italy. Such a rich dark blue. Traded in West Africa. 16mm round with a 3mm hole. Rare in this condition! Lamp wound and has some weight! Not the traditional "Dogon" cobalt blue which were produced in the Netherlands.
